ProChemicals began operating in 1971 in Green Bay, WI as a leader of barn cleaning, udder care chemistries and equipment for the animal health & dairy farm markets. As the food industry grew in Wisconsin in late 1970s, ProChemicals expanded its services to support the cleaning & sanitation of dairy, protein and food processing customers. With this growth, the success continued with the same unmatched levels of customer service.

Chaska Chemical was incorporated in 1961 in Minnesota. The initial focus was the manufacturing of dishwashing detergents for the institutional markets. With continual growth, Chaska Chemical evolved into a trusted chemical and value added service supplier to the vegetable and protein markets.

Doug Storhoff (President) has dedicated his entire career to the chemical industry; spending 20+ successful years in the industry. Doug purchased ProChemicals in January of 2002. Then, in 2012 Chaska Chemical Company – Savage, MN, was purchased; and ProActive Solutions USA, LLC was formed.

ProActive has carried forward with these traits and capabilities, and further expanded our offerings for you, our customers. We have become the most diversified chemical supplier in the industry.
